Updates to the Casting Director Application

• Additional letter selects (A-G) have been implemented for use with selection tags. Additional information can be found here.

Updates to the Talent Representatives Application

• A new 'Roster Media Usage Report' is now available and can be found in the 'Talent Reports' section. This report shows the media upload usage and availability for all active talent on your roster, based on each talent's membership level. See how to generate reports here.

Updates to the Casting Director Application

• The new Open Calls feature has been released, giving Casting Directors the ability to set up and customize Open Calls. Open Calls allow all talent to submit to projects without needing a membership. Find out more about setting up Open Calls here.

Updates to the Casting Director Application

• Casting companies can now enable watermarking for sides. When enabled, all newly uploaded sides will be watermarked for anyone who views or downloads them. Find out more here.
• Fixed an issue where clicking 'View submitted profile' for media and question requests resulted in a 404 error.

Updates to the Casting Director Application

• When hiding a group from the Group Details page, users will now be navigated to the next group in the session.
• The ‘Reports’ option within a Presentation is now more visible.
• Fixed an issue in Sessions where assigning a higher number to a group did not move it to the correct position on the page.

Updates to the Talent Representative Application

• Representatives who have opted in to project emails will now automatically have 'Vertical Short' and 'Social Media' project types selected in their preferences.

• Talent can now link their TikTok profiles to their Casting Networks accounts on both web and the iOS app! See more here
• Resolved an issue where the 'Confirm your location' field did not appear immediately after adding additional locations in the submission flow.
• The 'Submit' button is now more easily visible during the submission process on the mobile web version of the Casting Billboard.
• The primary working location will now be selected by default in the new submission flow when an additional location is present.

• If Talent have the iOS app installed, tapping an email link will now open up the app instead of the mobile website. 🎉
• Added a "Due Today" callout on Casting Billboard roles that have a submission due date of today's date.
• Added a "Submitted" tag on the Casting Billboard for roles you have applied to.

• Saved Search: Fixed an issue where some talent stopped receiving emails for "Roles As Published" searches.

• Talent Representative & Talent iOS users who log in to Casting Networks on Safari will now see a smart banner prompting them to open or download the app.

• iOS App: Added "See More" and "See Less" toggles to role details after the third line for improved consistency while Browse.
• Resolved an issue where some Google users were being logged out at random intervals.

Updates to the Casting Director Application 

• Users will now be able to view and change selection tag numbers for talent within the group details section in the Sessions Tab.
• Wardrobe details will populate as expected when sending schedules to talent.
• FastCapture has been updated to correct the error of videos being corrupted after trimming. The newest version of FastCapture can be found HERE. Please note that users must have macOS Ventura or newer to use this version.

• Talent on a Premium Membership will no longer be prompted to upgrade their accounts when linking their Instagram.
• The save search email format has been updated to display key information and details for users.

Updates to the Casting Director Application 

• Users will now have the following options available to them while sending out auditions via the Schedule tab:
  • New Talent

• Client feedback within Presentation Links will now be properly formatted as expected.
• Talent Search now allows users to Display Social Links that will display follower numbers for all talent that have linked Instagram accounts.

Updates to the Casting Director Application 

• Users will now see two new columns available when viewing all sessions; Group, and Last Updated. Additionally, users will now be able to sort the sessions by Name, Group, Source Column, or Last Updated. 
  

• When sending a message specifically for Talent Representatives in a Schedule, the message field will properly appear as expected.
• The wardrobe field will properly update when saving a draft in the Requests tab, as expected.

Updates to the Casting Director Application 

• An update has been made while saving role information for active projects. When users update Audition, Callback, Fitting, Working or Submission Dates, they will be prompted to save changes for all roles by selecting Yes -> Save Role. 

• A new feature has been added to the Submissions Tab. Users now have the option to sort talent in the Unviewed, Viewed, and Selected tabs in the following views:
  • First Name A-Z
  • Last Name A-Z

• An update has been made to ensure that when in the Requests Tab, selecting to send to all talent in a specific role, all talent will be added to the request as expected.
• A fix has been made to talent submission notes in the Worksheet tab. Users will be able to view all default submission notes submitted by Talent Reps in the Worksheet as expected.
• When viewing talent submissions, all media types are now correctly labeled as expected.
• A new feature has been added Casting Networks with Email History. This new feature can be found within each project as a new tab, and will include the following:
  • Publication Settings
    • Role Published
    • Requesting Additional Submissions
    • Widened Publication Settings
  • Audition Notifications
    • Audition Schedule Sent
    • Callback Schedule Sent
  • Request Notifications
    • Media Request Sent
    • Question Request Sent

• Users now have the ability to delete other users picks from within the Worksheet and within Group Details. Users can select the Pick icon and a new pop-up will appear giving the option to toggle between Comments and Picks. Users will then see the option to delete any desired Pick.

• New skills have been added to Casting Networks. Pickleball and Voice-Over can now be used as a skill on Talent profiles, within the skills section of projects.
• A fix has been made to the filters section of the Worksheet. When applying Filter by Picks in the Worksheet, talent that have been assigned a pick (Thumbs Up) in a presentation link, will now appear as expected after filtering.

Updates to the Casting Director Application 

• A new feature has been added to Sessions. Casting Directors will now see a search bar at the top of the Session tab to be able to search for the specific name of sessions created within a project. Additionally, you will be able to sort sessions by Newest to Oldest or Oldest to Newest. 

• An update has been made to collaborators tied to Casting Directors projects. When Collaborators add New Talent, not currently on Casting Networks to Sessions, the email addresses will now display as expected.
• An update has been made to the Filter By section of the overview tab within projects. User will now be able to toggle between All Work Dates, Future Work Dates, and Past Work Dates as expected.

• We have removed the storage based system from our talent memberships! Audition media will no longer be counted in Talent’s media space. Talent on a free membership will receive  2 photo credits, 1 video credit, and 1 audio file credit included in their membership. Talent on Premium membership will still have unlimited media on their profiles.

• Contact information will now properly be displayed per the selection set at Project Creation level.
• An issue has been resolved when reviewing submissions on pagination and marking as reviewed now only the talent on the specific page will move to viewed.
• An update has been to the publication settings. Now when updating individual role publication settings the other roles will remain to their designated publication settings.

• A New Feature has been created for all Casting Directors - Collaborators! The Collaborators feature allows Casting Directors to loop in Freelancers, Cam-Ops, and Session Runners to work on individual projects within your Casting Company. By assigning collaborator access, you can maintain control over your project's confidentiality and ensure that collaborators have the necessary permissions without granting them full access to your company's account on Casting Networks. Improvements have been made to Sessions and Representative Lists! 

• You can now rearrange the order of photos in Sessions! Once in your desired session, click on “Group Details” -> “Photo”. From this tab, you will be able to drag and drop the photos in the order in which you prefer!
• An issue has been resolved where users will now be able to see their Representative Lists in Alphabetical order.

Improvements have been made to Presentation Links, Conflicts, Audition History, and the Casting Experience!

• An issue has been resolved where users can accurately apply filters to search for presentation picks and comments on the worksheet.
• New conflicts have been added - These include:
  • Category: Shipping - Freight Companies, Delivery Services, USPS, Amazon, FedEx
  • Category: Financial - Real Estate, Mortgage Services
  • Category: Retail - Retail E-Commerce

• A fix has been released to ensure users are able to view Audition History, including icon indication on returning talent.
• We have modified the project creation process! Projects will now automatically opt for publishing to the Casting Billboard, to extend access to a wider pool of talent.

Updates to the Casting Director Application

• A new feature was introduced to help Casting Directors easily determine In-Person vs. Virtual Auditions. You will be able to set the audition type while building your project under section one, General Project Information -> Audition Type. While viewing your project overview page, you will now see a written notice reminding you if this project will have In Person, Self-Tape/ Virtual, Both, or Not Sure audition types.
   

• Improvements have been made to Presentation Links!
  • An issue has been resolved where outside clients leaving picks within a Presentation Link could not unpick the same talent.
  • A fix has been released to ensure users can successfully update feedback visibility settings in Presentation Links. Outside clients will not be able to see the names of those leaving comments and picks, as expected when unselecting “See Feedback Left by Others”.

Updates to the Representative Application

• A new feature was introduced to help Agents and Managers easily determine In Person vs. Virtual auditions for your talent. While viewing the Project Overview you will now see a written notice informing you if the audition will be In Person, Self-Tape/ Virtual, Both, or Not Sure audition types, as determined by the Casting Director. Further, you will also be able to see this information again in your worksheet under the Project -> Audition Type.

• An improvement was made for casting to help manage submissions! When reviewing submissions, you'll now see when a talent is:

  • Submitted for multiple roles within the same project
  • Selected for multiple roles within the same project

  When selecting, a warning modal will prompt for review. From here casting can make changes to their selections for this talent.

• An improvement was made to talent profile skills! 

  • We’ve added the proper dialects and languages for talent based in New Zealand. Updated skills include adding New Zealand to dialects and Tongan and Samoan to languages. 

   

• Two new enhancements have been made to talent membership & billing!
  • Apple Pay has been activated as a payment method for talent when checking out.
  • Talent with an annual subscription can renew their annual status within 30 days of the renewal date. If they choose an annual subscription renewal, talent will receive a 10% discount!
• New Feature added! Role Tracker allows Premium talent to track the life of their Casting Billboard submissions by viewing if casting has chosen to move forward with the talent's submission. Learn more about it HERE! 
   
• Essential Membership, a new middle-tier membership has officially been launched! This membership allows for emerging talent to utilize unlimited submissions on the Casting Billboard and upload up to 1 GB of media. All membership levels and features can be found HERE.

• Talent Scout is our new feature for Representatives looking for new talent! Talent Representatives can explore Casting Networks' Database for talent, who have indicated that they are currently seeking representation. • A New Feature has been added to the Project Submission experience. Casting Directors can now set their viewing preference from Infinite Scroll to Pagination. Pagination will allow you to view your submissions with a specified number of talent profiles per page.   • Reinstating Picks & Comments - Any user viewing presentation will be able to make a comment on a talent or mark them as a “Pick”. Before leaving feedback, recipients are prompted to enter their name, so any subsequent feedback is attributed to them. Once a presentation has picked talent in it, recipients will be able to view “Picks Only” as an instant selects link. Casting directors can use this view to see the clients’ choices.

  • Ability to Download Media - Casting can now choose to “Allow Downloads” on a Presentation, giving recipients the ability to download video, audio and photo files. Users should click on the overflow menu (⋮) on the media item and choose “Download” from the menu.
