Agents and casting can communicate via the chat feature in media requests, similar to the way they can communicate in audition requests. When a representative views a media request on the worksheet, they will see the familiar “talk bubble” of the chat icon.
Click on the chat icon to open up a window where you can type in a message, and hit enter or click on the send button to send the message to casting.
Casting will see that there are new messages in the media request chat on their worksheet, and can respond right from there.
This allows reps and casting to communicate about a media request, whenever there are situations that affect a talent’s ability to complete the self tape.
