CASTING DIRECTORS: How Do I Use Configurable Clip Stitching in FastCapture?
Configurable Clip Stitching is a feature in FastCapture that allows you to choose how audition clips are uploaded to Casting Networks. Previously, clips were automatically combined into one file. Now, when creating your FastCapture session, you have the option to upload each take as an individual clip or stitch them together into a single file.
Updating FastCapture to Access This Feature
This feature is available in the newest version of FastCapture.
To ensure you have access, update to the latest version of FastCapture before your next audition session.

How to Enable or Disable Clip Stitching in FastCapture
Open FastCapture.
When creating a new FastCapture file, locate the Stitch Clips checkbox.
To combine all takes into one video, click the Stitch Clips checkbox.
To upload takes as individual clips, keep Stitch Clips unchecked.
Complete your recording and upload your clips as usual.
FAQs & Troubleshooting
I don’t see the "Stitch Clips" option. Where is it?
Make sure you have updated FastCapture to the latest version.
Does this affect my Cast It integration?
No. If Cast It integration is enabled, the "Stitch Clips" option will not appear, and FastCapture will follow the existing behavior for uploading clips to Cast It.
Can I rename individual clips when "Stitch Clips" is disabled?
Yes! When "Stitch Clips" is unchecked, you can name each take before uploading.
