CASTING DIRECTORS: Can I import videos from one FastCapture® session to another?
This article explains how to move video files between different session documents in FastCapture®. It is designed to help Casting Directors and Session Operators easily consolidate media or move specific clips into an active group.
Importing to an Active Group
With your current FastCapture® Session Document open, follow these steps to move media directly:
Open all documents containing the desired videos.
Select Browse Media.
Navigate to the video you would like to import.
Double-click the video to open it in the player.
Select Import to Active Group.
Once selected, you will be given the option to choose the document you would like to import the media to.
Exporting and Importing via Desktop
Alternatively, you can export entire sessions to a folder on your desktop before importing them into your working document.
Open Browse Media.
Choose Export All from the top right corner.
Navigate to your current working document.
Select the Import button at the lower right-hand corner of FastCapture®.
Select the desired videos from the folder on your desktop.
