Steps on how to search and add talent profiles from Spotlight into FastCapture®

  1. Sign into FastCapture® and go to Preferences.

A cropped screenshot of a macOS application menu, showing the **"FastCapture3"** application menu dropped down. The menu item **"Preferences..."** is highlighted in blue, with the keyboard shortcut $	ext{(	ext{⌘}	ext{,})}$ (Command-comma) visible next to it. The menu is accessed from the top-left corner, next to the Apple logo and the "File" menu.

  2. On the Integrate tab, change the Talent Search to Spotlight.

A screenshot of the **"Integrate"** settings panel in a desktop application. The panel is divided into two sections: * **Talent Search:** Below the title, the prompt reads "Select a database for your talent search." There are two buttons: "Casting Networks" and **"Spotlight"**. The "Spotlight" button is selected (white background) and highlighted with a **red rectangle and a red arrow** pointing to it. * **Uploading:** Below the title, the prompt reads "Select a location for your talent uploads." There are two buttons: "Casting Networks" and "Cast It Systems". "Cast It Systems" is selected (white background).

  3. Enter your Spotlight credentials (username and password) then select Login.

Once your Spotlight credentials are entered and you log in, FastCapture® will search the Spotlight Database.

A login dialog box for the service **"Spotlight, The home of casting."** * The Spotlight logo is visible in the top left. * The title is "Enter your Spotlight login information :". * There are two input fields: **Username** (currently empty and highlighted with a thin green border) and **Password** (currently empty). * The dialog box has two buttons at the bottom: **"Cancel"** (light gray) and **"Login"** (dark blue).

  4. When a talent from Spotlight is selected, FastCapture® will create a "quick-add" profile placeholder which includes the talent's name, representation contact information, and a link to their Spotlight public profile URL.

Note: The talent will not be notified of the quick-add profile.

Please make sure that you seek the consent of Talent before you upload/use their data (i.e. audition videos) and let them know how their content will be used. For example, "Your audition will be uploaded to a casting system to be viewed by those involved in the project."

A partial screenshot of a software interface displaying information for a talent named **AMY**. The content is shown in two sections, both highlighting the same information with red ovals: 1. **Top Section (Current Talent):** Displays AMY's profile with a generic green silhouette image and the text "HERO 1" and the URL **"[https://www.spotlight.com/629](https://www.spotlight.com/629)"**. Both "AMY" and the URL are circled in red. 2. **Bottom Section (Editing/Viewing Details):** Shows AMY's profile again, with the name **AMY** circled in red, and an input field for a comment or URL which contains the text **"[https://www.spotlight.com/629](https://www.spotlight.com/629)"**, also circled in red. This section also includes buttons like "Take Photo," "Size Sheet," and "Profile."

  5. The Spotlight public profile URL will be added as a Comment on the presentation. This will give the client a quick link to the talent's public profile.

A screenshot showing a modal pop-up window titled **"Leave Feedback for AMY"** overlaid on a profile page. * The pop-up window contains a text box for new feedback and a **"Post Comment"** button. * Below the text box is a previously submitted comment by "Clark Worthington" dated "Sep 14, 2021 8:52am PST." * This existing comment contains the URL **"[https://www.spotlight.com/629](https://www.spotlight.com/629)"**, which is prominently highlighted with a **red oval**. * The pop-up also has **"Cancel"** and **"OK"** buttons at the bottom. * On the visible background profile, there is a small icon with the number **"1"** circled in orange, indicating the existing comment count for AMY's profile.

How will Spotlight profiles look on the Casting Networks platform?

Spotlight profiles on Casting Networks will not have a photo attached to them. The URL of the Spotlight public profile will be available as a comment.
