TALENT: How Do I Manage and Review My Auditions?
This article explains how you can track your audition requests, review your past self-tapes, and understand notifications regarding changes or cancellations to your auditions. Following these steps will help you stay on top of all your audition opportunities.
Audition Notifications
You can be notified of audition requests in several ways to ensure you never miss an opportunity.
Email Notifications: You will receive an email for any audition requests for roles you submitted yourself to. If your talent representative submitted you, they will need to forward the audition request to you to trigger the email notification.
Text Message Notifications: If you are in the United States, you can opt-in to receive text message notifications.
The Your Alerts Tab: You can see all audition requests by logging into your Casting Networks account and navigating to the Your Alerts tab.
To manage your notification preferences:
Click on your name in the top right corner of your account.
From the dropdown menu, hover over Account Settings.
Select Notification Settings to opt in or out of various communications.
Reviewing Your Auditions
We have an exciting tool called Your Auditions, which is located in the Your Insights folder in your account. This feature allows you to review media you have submitted for past auditions.
Premium members have full access to this feature, which provides a fast and easy way to watch your self-tapes.
Free members can view a preview of this feature.
Having insight into which self-tapes have booked and those that have not can help you see what’s working, make improvements for the future, and continue to grow in your career.
Changes and Cancellations
From time to time, details about an audition may change or the request may be canceled. Here’s what to look for:
Changes to Auditions
If you see a message on your Audition Ticket indicating that "changes are being made to the request," it typically means a casting director is adjusting details like the time or date. Once the updates are finalized, you will receive a new notification via your alerts and email.
Canceled Auditions
If you see a note that says, “This request was canceled,” it means the casting director is no longer holding auditions for that role or no longer requires you to audition. Any updates regarding cancellations will be visible in the Your Alerts tab and sent via email (if you’ve opted in).
