It is common to have a mix of needs on a single production. Here is how the platform handles union status hierarchy:

  • A project can only be listed with one union (e.g., the main project is SAG-AFTRA).

  • However, individual background roles within that SAG-AFTRA project can be listed as Union, Union / Non-Union, or Non-Union.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. When creating your project, list your project as SAG-AFTRA.

  2. Include the specific contract type if possible.

  3. Proceed to the role creation step.

  4. When adding a Background role, look for the union status option.

  5. Select whether to list that individual role as SAG-AFTRA or Non-Union.
